As I mentioned earlier in the month, I will be at the Pikes Peak Writers Conference here in a couple days. I’ve got several things going during the conference, and have received my official schedule, so I wanted to point out a couple highlights for you today.
First – I’ll be doing interviews with the following authors, editors and other faculty:
- Jim C. Hines
- Sarah Peed
- Hank Philippi Ryan
- Carol Berg
- Kristin Nelson
- Aaron Michael Ritchey
- Gail Carriger
- Chuck Wendig
Second, I’ll be moderating a panel – which will also be recorded for a podcast – on Diversity in Science Fiction and Fantasy. Join Chuck Wendig, Jim C. Hines, Carol Berg, Amy Boggs and myself for this discussion on Saturday, 3:10 – 4:10 in the Aspen Leaf room. Bring cookies…*
Last, I’ll also be doing a special Scrivener Q&A for Delve. This will be the last Delve Session on Sunday in the Delve room – 11:20 AM – 12:20 PM. If you’ve ever wanted to see Scrivener in action or ask someone who knows the software some questions – this is your chance!
Ok – that’s it. I hope to see you there. With cookies**. Peanut butter or chocolate chip. If not, I’ll catch you somewhere else. And you can bring brownies***…
*I have been informed by the powers that be that no one should, in fact, bring cookies. Cookies are forbidden! As are all outside food stuffs.
**Seriously. They are telling me absolutely no cookies or outside foods. It’s a thing.
***Can’t bring brownies either. Sigh.

This and Mile High seem to be the only cons that Bear isn’t going to this year, judging from her list on the new FN podcast 🙂
