• Star Trek: The Next Generation ends its seven year run to free the cast to make crappy movies
• Babylon 5 premiered in syndication

• ER premiered on NBC
• …so does Friends
• The Lion King tramples the box office
• …so does Forrest Gump
• Clear & Preset Danger hits movie theaters and kills the Clancy franchise machine in Hollywood for a decade
