to get a toe blown off, started hopping around like a flea on a hot skillet. Everybody was laughing, fit to be tied. When his last bullet- #

to his pack mule, pulled out a double-barreled shotgun, & cocked both hammers. The crowd stopped laughing immediately. The young- #
gunslinger heard the sounds too, and he turned around very slowly. The silence was almost deafening. The shotgun never wavered in the- #
old man’s hands, as he quietly said, “Son, have you ever kissed a mule’s ass?” The gunslinger swallowed hard & said, #
“No sir, can’t say as I have… but I’ve always wanted to.” #
There are lessons for us in this story: 1. Never be arrogant. 2. Don’t waste ammunition. 3. Whiskey makes you think you’re smarter than- #
you really are. 4. Always, always make sure you know who has the power. 5. Don’t mess with old men… they didn’t get old by being stupid. #

Work blog broke some industry news in March. Looking at Analytics numbers, the site jumped in traffic, 111.94% versus Feb. O_o #
Unique visitors and pageviews both doubled for the month, up 100.81% & 98.51% respectively. That’s just amazing. #
You know, I read all this stuff about different companies fighting to be ‘the search engine’. The take is always that they’ll catch Google. #
Then I see numbers like these: Analytics, Referring Search engines. Google-1,869, Bing-219, Yahoo-178. Um. Yeah… #
Do you know you can be banned from Google’s search index? I read about a company who was banned. I’d tell you who, but I can’t search 4 em.. #

when I go through and mark comments as spam, it reminds me of the old guild forums I used to run. Oy. Talk about spam. #
