March sucked. Seriously. Work has been crazy busy and home has been difficult and stressful. I listened to far fewer books than previous months, finding it difficult to concentrate on books and instead blasting music whenever I could just to clear my head. However, I stuck to long freaking books in the form of Brandon Sanderson and Deborah Harkness.
1) The Well of Ascension: Mistborn, Book 2 by Brandon Sanderson
Narrated by: Michael Kramer
2) A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness
Narrated by: Jennifer Ikeda
I listened to this second book because I needed a break from Sanderson. A Discovery of Witches is very well written, and I really liked the narrator, but it’s not my cup of tea. I probably won’t continue the series.
And, that’s it for March. Like I said, I was far too busy and stressed and couldn’t get much reading in. Here’s hoping April will be better! I’ve got three credits burning a hole in my virtual wallet… Any suggestions?
