If you didn’t already know it, I write a twice monthly column on the Kirkus Reviews blog focused on graphic novels. This year, despite lots of stuff going on around casa de ATFMB, I managed to read and review 24 graphic novels! I figured I’d list them all here in the hopes you’ll go check them out (if you haven’t already).
I always try to find stuff that isn’t really about your usual superheroes, so you won’t find Batman or SpiderMan, for example, in my pieces. Tracking down other kinds of books used to be a lot harder, but with the explosion of indie and creator-owned comics out there these days, it’s getting a lot easier. And there are a lot of fantastic stories being told.
So, with that in mind, here are the 24 graphic novels I reviewed in 2015 for Kirkus:
Halo: Uprising – Not Your Standard Superhero Tale – on January 8, 2015
