Unofficial Description: Few musicians have had the impact on me personally than B.B. King. I came to his music following the debut of Eric Clapton Unplugged, which lit the fire and love of the Blues inside of me. From there, I sought out everything I could consume, and heard The Thrill is Gone for the very first time.

With clips and interviews, this movie tells the tale of Riley B King, who the world came to know as B.B. King. It’s a compelling story. His was not an easy life. Often, that life bled into his music.

Watching this documentary, I got a deeper understanding of the man and where he came from, which helps me appreciate the music even more.
