Official Description: Academy Award® winner Denzel Washington stars in this “riveting and powerful nail-biting thriller1” from Robert Zemeckis, the Academy Award®winning director of Forrest Gump and Cast Away. Airline pilot Whip Whitaker (Washington) miraculously lands his plane after a mid-air catastrophe. But even as he’s being hailed for his heroic efforts, questions arise as to who or what was really at fault. Action-packed, engrossing and powerful, Washington’s performance is being hailed as “a triumph2” and one that “will be talked about for years.”
Unofficial Description: I am very sad to say that this movie bored me to tears. It’s an example of a movie’s trailer being disconnected from the actual movie. An hour in, I couldn’t bring myself to continue.

Airplanes and Denzel Washington? Could not possibly be boring. I will see this.
(Okay, my husband was a pilot and a safety officer who studied crash reports. They’re really very interesting. And I’ve got a lot of miles in old military aircraft, because who can afford to fly commercial.)
And…Denzel Washington.
Oh, wait. You said “airline pilot.” Never mind. Probably is boring. Probably have to take off your shoes and let some doofus feel you up before you can get into the theater. And the show won’t start on time, and when it’s over, someone else will be wearing your shoes, and they’ll make you sit in the theater for 15 hours before they’ll let you leave, and they won’t even say they’re sorry for the inconvenience, because they get a little lift from pushing strangers around.
I couldn’t get through it. Also, it was one of those movies where the audio was shitty. People talking was always super quiet, so you had to turn it up to hear anything, and then they’d blast you out with music or something. Very annoying.
loved Flight but love allllll Denzel movies
