How come you never see anyone smoking pot at a classical music concert?

did you know that Stephen Stills auditioned to be a member of The Monkees?

Thusfar, my Kindle has proved innovative in just one way: now I can buy a book and not read it instantly rather than spending 20 minutes driving to the bookstore to buy a book and not read it.

If my brother plays a song on his guitar and the people around him like it, he says, “Yeah – I wrote that.”

If they don’t like it, he says, “Well, Peter Frampton wrote that…”

“You know, the lawn won’t cut itself.” “How do you know?  It could be depressed.  Maybe the other lawns called it fat.”

The weekend kinda got away from me.  Don’t get me wrong, I accomplished a LOT this weekend.  But it always seems like the things I manage take a longer than I planned on and the things I wanted to do (versus needed to do) fall by the way side.

I hate it when that happens.

I watched a few episodes of a show on the Science channel called ‘Oddities’.

Now I know where to go if I ever need to legally purchase a shrunken head (apparently they might be considered a protected antiquity).

Now I want to write a story about a hop similar to the one in Oddities.  I think that could be cool.

Wait – didn’t Friday the 13th: The Series already do that?

Well, if not them – I’m sure the Simpson’s did it…
