I’ve been trying to stretch my photo prowess and take different kinds of pictures, including closeups.
In today’s pic, I was trying to capture the brilliant purple of these flowers. I didn’t get it exactly the way I wanted it, but it still turned out okay:

This was taken on a trail up near Crystal Reservoir Colorado, I believe. I went up above the reservoir on these trails that dip in and out of the trees and came across these flowers just sitting there. Wasn’t much else around so it was almost as if someone planted em right there so they’d be noticed.
Still learning about my camera, I did the best I could to capture their beauty and that brilliant shade of purple…
