Lots of trailers and updated trailers are out and if you’ve seen Wolverine or JJ Trek, you probably saw some or all of them, but I still like to gather them together and share.
First up is District 9. Holy crap. This looks great. You get the feeling that you’re looking at some sort of mid-East documentary and then suddenly… You’re not. Definitely going to see this one.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. We’re seeing more of the plot in the latest trailer and it looks good. I liked the first one and the second is looking just as fun and interesting.
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. This movie scares me. Initial stuff I read online about this film said that one of the first things they dropped was ‘American Hero’ – this team is ‘international’ and that’s a load of bullshit. Second, if this is based on the old cartoon, it’s just going to suck so bad. If it’s based on the original Marvel Comics, then I think it will have a much better chance of succeeding. The latest trailer gives us a better glimpse of what’s going on; we see Destro, Hawk, Duke, Scarlett, The Baroness and of course, Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes. I reserve judgment until I see it though.
Terminator: Salvation. Boy, it’s the season for movies with colon’s. Ewwww. ANYWAY, the latest trailer for the McG reboot of this movie franchise has been out for a bit and, if you take this trailer and watch it and the others back to back, there really is no need to go pay $8 to see the movie – it’s all in the trailers… I kid… Maybe. I want a crossover – the Machines of Terminator against the Transformers. And WALL*E.
UP from Pixar. I’m going to see this twice. It just looks so damned fun.
Gooby. Um. I have no idea where this came from but wtf? I think I want to see it because it looks so odd.
Lastly, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. I have never watched the first one, but the second one looks so fun I plan to check it out this weekend, then catch the new one when it comes out in a couple weeks.
Well, that’s it for my trailer roundup. Hope you liked it.
