I’ve always wanted to do some ‘real photography’. Don’t get me wrong, I love my point and click digital camera (even though it’s a battery hog). But I wanted to take professional quality photos.
Today, my mom helped me take a huge leap forward towards that goal.
Enter the Nikon D40:
This is, by far, the nicest camera I have ever owned.
She gave it to me early so I can use it at family gatherings over the holiday. As a side note, I’m not feeling very well at all, but I am totally willing to run this camera through its paces over the next couple of days.
Mom said she wanted to ‘blow me away’ with a present and she succeeded!
